Angela and I drove to Lahaina to meet Joelle and Jane for breakfast at Paradise Grill. Shannon and Brandon got married. Seven mile run along the beach. Nichol arrived. Sunset on the beach. Dinner at 5 Palms Beach Grill.

Breakfast at Ami, Ami. Drove to Lahaina to pick-up race number. Lunch at Captain Jacks. Swim and nap on beach. Dinner at Jane's house - homemade pasta dinner.

Up at 3:45 for the marathon. Nichol, Angela and Chris came with me to the start. Traditional Hawaiian ceremony before the start...prayer circle, chanting. There were 13 - 50 Staters there, completing the 50 states. All our race numbers were 50 and we started first on the starting line. Nichol and Angela followed me the whole way! Craig met me on the course near the house. Chris drove part of the way. Saw sunrise, whales...beautiful ocean views. Angela and Nichol were at the finish line. Lunch at Coconuts. Relaxed in the pool. Dinner at Sorento's.

Up early? Drove to the Needles. Hung out on the beach, listened to the whales under the water, threw around by the waves. Maui Brewing. Drove Nichol to the airport, sunset along the way. Pizza for dinner at the house.

We met Joelle at 76 Gas, where Jane dropped her off...then to the motorcycle shop. Chris and I rented Harley's. Rode the Lower Road to Hana. Stopped at Ulupalckua for Lunch, Sacred Falls at Haleakula National Park, saw Big Island Maunakai...brief stop on Hana Pier. Dinner at home - Coconuts.

Returned motorcycles and rental car. To Lahaina to drop Joelle off. Breakfast at Zippy's. To the beach with everyone. Four mile run. Stopped at Maui Brewery. Sunset on the beach. Dinner at home - takeout from Coconuts. To the airport and home.
